E-bulletin boards are wall-mounted monitors or LCD screens that present rotating slides of information. You can see examples of these displays in many public settings including government buildings such as the DMV, schools, libraries, airports, and churches. The continuously looping presentations advertise important information or instructions in a non-obtrusive, dynamic, colorful, and easy to understand format.
What makes STLI's e-bulletin board systems unique is the ability to update your presentation via the Internet. Any number of monitors, in any number of different locations around the world, can all run the same presentation. Not only do you not have to be in the same building as the display in order to update it, but the computer and display itself do not even need to be touched. The software running the display automatically picks up your changes and updates itself within minutes.
You simply create the slides in PowerPoint, Photoshop, or any graphics program, and upload them via a password-protected Web site. Tools on the site allow you to set an expiration date for each slide, after which it will automatically be removed from the queue. You can also determine the number of seconds each slide appears on the screen so that slides with greater amounts of text can appear longer. When slides expire or are no longer needed, you can delete them or archive them for future use.
