For over 10 years STLI has been developing custom kiosk software for clients all over the state. We believe a successful kiosk program must possess three key qualities: ease of use, current and correct information, and the ability to track how it is being used by the public.

We are experts in the development of "zero learning curve software" which makes users immediately feel comfortable and find the information they want. Interfaces should be simple enough for anyone to use, even those who don't know how to use a computer. Our controlled Internet access functions are easy to use and expand your kiosk's functionality without risking security.

To help our clients keep their kiosks current, our AIM (Automated Information Management) System eliminates the need to visit remote locations by making your kiosk program updateable via the Internet. Entire screens can be replaced or designated text or media elements can be updated at any time.

Since it is impossible to evaluate the success of any outreach program without user feedback, hit counts are recorded and saved to an online database. Reports can then be accessed via the Web and analyzed to see which screens or types of information are most popular. Users can also input their email address via an onscreen keyboard to email themselves information found on the kiosk, or to join a mailing list for future communications.
