Disagreeing with your peers or boss need not drive a wedge into your relationship. To object with diplomacy:
Agree first. Begin by establishing where you both see eye-to-eye. Then move to the specific area where you disagree, Example: “We’re both on the same page about the goals. We differ on the budget. In my view…”

| It’s Hot!!! Are You Drinking Enough Water?
Why water is so important: Water provides the body's single best defense against heat other than removing heat exposure itself. In conditions of high heat and strenuous work, the human body can lose over a quart of fluid per hour just by sweating. Continuous replacement of this lost fluid is critical to allowing the body to maintain the life-preserving cooling benefits of perspiration.
Stay Hydrated: Drink lots of water; about 1 cup every 15 minutes; about 1 quart per hour.
Protect Yourself from Heat Stress
When the body is unable to cool itself by sweating, heat-induced illnesses such as heat stress or heat exhaustion and the more severe heat stroke can occur, and can result in death.

| Proper Introductions
When performing introductions, here's the 2-step golden rule to proper business introductions:
Step 1: The first person's name you say is always the most important person.
Step 2: Thereafter, everyone else's name is introduced to that most important person.
ALWAYS say the most important person's name first. In business rank and status are the primary determinants to who takes precedence over whom. Gender and age are typically not factors.
NEVER use the word "meet" when introducing people. For example, read the following sentence and tell me who's the CFO and who is the newly hired staff member. "Jane Doe, I would like you to meet John Smith."

| Organized Writing
Before you start typing an email, organize your thoughts to unveil an orderly flow of ideas. To make outlining easy:
Summarize key points. Think of each item you need to cover. Choose a word or phrase to signify that point and write it down. Using this technique, list everything you want to include in your memo.
