POWER INN BUSINESS WALK SET FOR OCTOBER 29 WITH METRO CHAMBER
******************************************************************** One of the most successful business retention programs the Power Inn Alliance conducts is the Annual Business Walk, where some 50 members of The Alliance and Metro Chamber join forces with the City Economic Development Department to call on over 150 businesses in the area. It is one of the best public relations and business retention efforts The Alliance conducts. This year’s Business Walk on Thursday, Oct. 29 is a chance for members and nonmembers alike to learn how area business is doing.
Following a breakfast orientation at Sacramento Transfer and Recycling Station (8491 Fruitridge Rd.) at 8:00 am, teams of 2 – 3 will canvass a targeted area of small and medium-sized businesses to interview owners and managers about current business conditions. At noon, they reconvene to have lunch and hear team reports. Last year, the Mayor joined the effort and called on local businesses.
We invite Alliance members to join fellow members, directors, Metro Chamber Ambassadors and City Economic Development staff members in this productive and enjoyable venture. Please call Jerry Vorpahl 453-8888 for more information or register by clicking the link below. (There is no charge).
